Here at Loire Valley Retreat we have a soft spot for providing memorable family holidays. We're a family ourselves, so we know what it takes for parents to feel relaxed on holiday with their children - likewise our four have taught us everything we needed to know about what they look for on a French adventure.

So if your wishlist includes freedom to roam, safe play areas (both indoors and outdoors), a heated and fully gated pool, and all the baby/toddler equipment you won't have to travel with - we're probably a good bet.

The atmosphere at Loire Valley Retreat is special too - we only welcome four families at a time so it's intimate, relaxed and friendly .

Of course it isn't all about the kids, parents come back time and again for the little extras they don't find everywhere. Breakfast delivery to order every day, evening meal options several times per week, babysitting, our wonderful wine tasting cellar and exquisite massage room all add to the experience for Mum and Dad. From this summer we have also added a gym and Sauna and Spa room available to book by the hour.

The area has lots to offer too with plenty of daytrips, activities and attractions in easy reach.
