Château de Chargé is nestled in a plot of some 6 acres, surrounded by agricultural crop land. The garden provides an ideal relaxing space exclusively for our guests to enjoy and includes a 10x15m outdoor heated swimming pool, a childrens’ play area; a pretty landscaped lawn and terrace for our guests to relax and to sunbathe. An enclosed paddock houses a family of four black sheep.
The rear garden contains a number of established trees including a walnut, a gingko and a cedar of Lebanon, thought to be around 200 years old. There are also ruins of a 17th century chapel in the garden, now a vegetable plot. The attractive courtyard to the front of the property is fully enclosed and provides an additional area for enjoying breakfast or supper on the terrace and charting the course of the occasional hot air balloon! Children will find a selection of toys and tricycles, and may collect eggs daily from the hen house.
